This class is co-taught by Cynthia Loving and Marie Andersen-Whitehurst.

Our earliest ancestors recognized that smells could later their mental and emotional states. They knew that smelling Lavender tended to calm them and Rosemary or Peppermint would wake them up. Smell impacts a primitive part of the brain known as the Limbic System which plays a major role in emotions and motivations, particularly those related to survival. Learn the historical uses of aromatic plants as well as review current research demonstrating the effectiveness of aromatherapy in the treatment of various mental/emotional challenges. Knowing which oils to use and appropriate methods will be shared.
